• All riders of electric bikes must wear helmets.
• E-bike riders must be 16 years of age or older - Indiana State Law
• Kids Attachments (Tag-A-Long, Kids Seat, Kids Trailer) cannot be used with the electric bicycle.

ＲＩＤＥＲ　ＳＡＦＥＴＹ　＆　ＥＴＩＱＵＥＴＴＥ
• Maintain safe speeds of under 10mph when near other cyclists and pedestrians. Be prepared to take evasive action or stop suddenly relating to vehicles, other riders, or pedestrians
• When approaching slower riders, pass on their left hand side and verbally state “on your left” as you approach them to prevent incident.

ＢＡＴＴＥＲＹ　ＬＩＦＥ
Multiple factors affect how far you will get on a single battery charge including: hills, headwinds, and rider weight. Rider mode will also affect battery life. Our bikes have several rider modes ranging from eco, to normal, to high mode. You will typically get up to 4 hours of straight riding on eco mode. For those renting for a full day, you are welcome to come back to the shop to swap out your battery.

Rules Differ for Group Reservations

  • Renters must have a valid government-issued photo ID and be 18 years of age or older.
  • Rentals: 1 hour minimum; Pontoon Boat – 2 hour minimum
  • After one (1) hour, all rentals are prorated in 30-minute increments
  • All Rentals returned after close will be charged a $1.00 per minute LATE FEE
  • We do not offer refunds for weather – Rain Checks Only.
  • Damaged Goods – you will be charged for any product damaged during your rental.
  • Please be certain you receive & understand user instructions prior to renting
  • ALCOHOL & DRUGS are PROHIBITED inside Eagle Creek Park & on any rental .
  • Any person visibly under the influence of alcohol/drugs is PROHIBITED from renting.

 

ELECTRIC BIKE RULES

  • Helmets are provided FREE with your rental & must be worn at all times
  • Electric bike riders must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Ride safely; electric bikes must stay on paved roads & obey all park rules/traffic laws.

 

Review Release of Liability Agreement for full rental terms & conditions. All equipment rented is subject to the rules of operation.

Failure to obey is subject to immediate termination of rental without refund.

WATERCRAFT RULES

  • Paddling & safety gear is provided FREE with your rental.
  • Life Jackets (PFD) must be worn at all times when using any watercraft.
  • Renter must know how to swim to rent any watercraft.
  • All children under 15 years of age must be accompanied on-board by a Parent/Guardian.
  • Be certain you understand wind direction before you leave the launch area.
  • Fishing is allowed off of any watercraft, & you must have a valid fishing license.
  • Exiting/entering your watercraft from any place other than the designated launch area is PROHIBITED and could be hazardous to you or the watercraft.
  • Swimming is PROHIBITED in Eagle Creek Reservoir.
  • Jumping from any watercraft is PROHIBITED; all renters must stay on watercraft.
  • ALL inflatables, pool noodles, and towing of any kind are PROHIBITED.
  • Pedal kayaks are PROHIBITED from entering Eagle Creek due to low water levels.
  • Please be mindful of people casting & fishing from the shoreline.

 

WATERCRAFT CAPACITIES

  • ALL bags, coolers, and gear are included in your total weight calculation.
  • The employee loading watercraft has final authority and will STRICTLY ENFORCE ALL CAPACITIES.
  • Max person or max weight, whichever comes first. 1 infant = 1 person; 1 animal = 1 person
  • Single Kayak: 1 person or 375 lbs
  • Double Kayak: 2 persons or 500 lbs
  • Pedal Kayak: 1 person or 400 lbs
  • SUP: 1 person or 250 lbs
  • Canoe: 2-3 persons or 450 lbs
  • Paddle Boat: 3-4 persons or 800 lbs
  • Jon Boat: 2-3 persons or 600 lbs
  • Pontoon Boat: 4-7 persons or 1400 lbs
