Eagle Creek Park Guided Kayak Tour

Eagle Creek guided kayak tour and kayak rental.

Our experienced paddle team will lead you on a fun and informative paddle tour of Eagle Creek Park Reservoir. Choose from a single or double kayak, and we provide all the gear and equipment needed! You’ll learn some of the local history of the park and reservoir, and get to see lots of interesting sights and places along the northern nature preserve area of the reservoir! All paddle-skill levels are welcome & we’ll give you some basic paddle/safety instructions before we launch. This is truly a one-of-a-kind paddling experience! Join us for a relaxing evening on the water as the sun sets!

PROGRAM IS APPROX 3 HOURS:

June – August Schedule

5:15pm – 5:30pm – Participant Check-In/Waiver/Life Jacket Fit/Loaded into Boat(s).

5:30pm – 6:00pm – Meet your tour guide, safety orientation, and paddling instructions.

6:00pm – 8:00pm – Guided Paddle Program

*If you arrive after 5:30pm, you will not be able to participate in the tour, and no refund will be given.

 

September Schedule

4:15pm – 4:30pm – Participant Check-In/Waiver/Life Jacket Fit/Loaded into Boat(s).

4:30pm – 5:00pm – Meet your tour guide, safety orientation, and paddling instructions.

5:00pm – 7:00pm – Guided Paddle Program

*If you arrive after 4:30pm, you will not be able to participate in the tour, and no refund will be given.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • There is an additional entrance fee to get into Eagle Creek Park.
  • Reservations are required and limited to 10 single kayaks and 5 double kayaks.

 

  • Age Requirements:
    • Single Kayak – 16 years of age or older. (Minors must be accompanied on the water by parent or guardian 18 years of age or older.)
    • Double Kayak – 6 years of age or older. (Minors must be accompanied on-board by parent or guardian 18 years or older.)
  • Due to safety protocols, and the overall experience for others guests, animals are not allowed on Guided Paddle Programs

  • Registrants must be present for the entire safety instructions/orientation to be eligible to participate in program.

  • You’ll see a variety of wild life, local flora and fauna, and so much for.
  • Our knowledgeable tour guide Jeff Coates will guide you near the wetlands, bird area, and so much more.
  • The sunset is the perfect time for a kayak excursion because the wildlife starts to come out and the area comes alive with breathtaking views and sounds.

Cancellation Policy

No refund or rescheduling will be processed if you fail to contact us in advance or miss your reservation time. • If we have to cancel last minute due to weather or other unforeseen circumstance you will be notified immediately and have the right to a full refund or to reschedule. • We will happily reschedule to a different date if there is space available, but you must contact us before your reservation date. • We can only refund the cost you paid us, we are unable to refund any entrance/parking fee you may have paid to the park. • We reserve the right to cancel any events that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements. Should this occur, we will reschedule registered participants. If the alternative date is not convenient for you, a refund will be issued. • We reserve the right to cancel any tours that do not meet minimum weather conditions. Rain Checks

We will usually hold off cancelling events due to weather conditions until the day of the scheduled event. Registrants will be notified promptly if we need to cancel an event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Rescheduling will be offered; you would also have the right to to a refund if you prefer that.

Do I have to wear a life jacket?

Yes all kayakers must wear a life jacket at all times while out on the water. You must obey all posted rental and tour rules, and follow instruction from your tour guide. Failure to comply will result in termination of your rental/tour with no refund.
